Don't forget to update your weekly journals

To do this week:

Upload 4 photos on to your blog. For each photo you must evaluate what you like and dislike about it.

  • state what your intention for was the shot
    • how does appeal to your target audience
    • why did make certain choices regarding setting, costume, lighting, pose, model etc
  • were you successful? Yes? Why? No? Why?

Start your magazine- choose international paper on PS and get started!

If you haven't done so already:

  • Choose a mast head (title for your magazine) and ensure you get audience feedback
  • Choose a range of fonts, take screen grabs and upload them to your blogs. Explain the choices you make in response to audience feedback

Focus Group

With many thanks to Usman we now have videos that should fit on blogs!

Please both upload these to your own blogs and analyse them in regards to your planning.

Monday, 1 December 2014

First set of photos to be taken by Friday.

You must have at least 6 perfect photos for your magazine. (1 x front cover, 4x contents page, at least 1x for DPS)

For each photo consider:
  • Location
  • Props
  • Costume
  • Lighting
  • Model
  • Shot types
Top tip: Take way more photos than you need- that way you will have more choice when you start making the magazine.

A Final Reminder!

As discussed last lesson your Research deadline is THIS FRIDAY.

By then you should have:
  • Completed all research tasks from the checklists (which have been both emailed to you and uploaded onto the blog).
  • Attach your peer assessment feedback sheet.
  • Titled your blogs with the same titles as on the feedback sheet for ease of navigation.

No more lesson time will be given over to ensuring you are up to date as this is an expectation of AS students. Failure to meet this final deadline will result in contact with your parent/carer, DOT, Mr Weston and Mr Charlton.
